New Hot Runner Manifold System Provides Optimal Control and Improves Performance

The new Even-Flow II TMHot Runner System developed by Plastic Engineering & Technical Services provides optimal control and precise points of injection. The machined round one-piece design Hot Runner Manifold is made with solid P20 steel ensuring uniform heating advancements and withstands excessive pressure in excess of 35,000 psi while maintaining the ability to manually control various temperature zones.

"The Even-Flow II design has machined round P20 steel that provides higher heat transfer and less porosity."

Even-Flow II TMHot Runner System Features:

  • Stainless steel locating ring minimizes heat transfer from the mold to the machine
  • Titanium pre-loads minimize heat transfer from the manifold to the clamp plate
  • Hermetically sealed heater bands eliminate moisture increasing the longevity of the product
  • Two-step diamond polished end plugs with dual seal off points reduces color hang-ups, minimizes material stress at the transition point and stops leakage
  • Ability to produce to any shape or size

    Mold makers and injection molders will find improved heat transfer, advanced thermal conductivity and increased performance. The Even-Flow II TM uses the ENDURA® Coatings that results in enhanced material flow, quicker fill times and significantly reduces knit lines.

    "We have been extremely pleased with the increased production and decreased color change results," continued Casey. "We have reduced non-usable parts by 88.75% in the new Even-Flow II. We expect increased sales due to the enhancements in the tool design process."
